The most advanced Pacifica ever

Pacifica Professional guitars were designed for musicians looking for their own unique sound . Built on an alder body, a slim maple neck with a C-profile, compound radius fingerboards in rosewood or maple, Reflectone pickups developed in cooperation with Rupert Neve Designs and a selection of vibrant colors, these offer instruments made with the utmost care in Japan an outstanding sound and first-class playability.

Modern features

Thanks to the guitar neck with a slim C profile, specially adapted neck foot area, a specially folded body and a compound radius fretboard with a 10-14" radius, the Pacifica Professional is exceptionally easy and comfortable to play.
The Modern C-neck shape ideally combines comfort and speed and, in combination with a Custom Tinted Satin finish , ensures a smoothly smooth game. The pleasantly contoured neck foot guarantees comfortable and easy playing on the upper frets. The 10 - 14" compound radius fretboard allows clean and accurate chord playing in the lower neck area, while at the same time making it easier to bend solo notes in the higher frets.
The alder body has been bevelled at the rim to significantly increase playing comfort and enable fatigue-free playing.

Pickups and hardware

The Pacifica Professional's new Reflectone pickups were created in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs and transport a clear and articulate tone with a solid foundation and bright highs. In the HSS combination used, the pickups offer exceptional versatility, not least thanks to the coil splitting function . Stainless steel frets are not only extremely durable, they also offer significantly less resistance when the strings bend. Gotoh locking tuner combined with a Gotoh two-point tremolo system guarantee smooth functionality and tuning stability.

State-of-the-art production

The Yamaha Pacifica Professional is manufactured in Japan, a country that has a long tradition of building high-quality guitars. Yamaha's acoustic design technology relies on scientific processes such as 3D modeling to develop milling techniques for woodworking that optimize body resonance as well as the transfer from vibrations between the neck and body. The Initial Response Acceleration (IRA) process applied after the guitar is finished gives the instrument maximum resonance and sustain.

Inspired by pop art and summer vibes

The selection of vibrant new color variants was the result of close collaboration between the Yamaha design teams in Hamamatsu, Japan and Los Angeles, USA. The paintwork was inspired by both Japanese city pop art and the sun-kissed vibes of Southern California. The exciting new colors of the Pacifica Professional make you and your guitar an eye-catcher, no matter where it accompanies you.
