New design and revised controls
The Genos2 not only impresses with its elegant design, but also with completely new controls. Equipped with not just one, but two screens, operation is now easier and more convenient than ever. The new anti-glare 9" screen with touch function offers a larger viewing angle , making operation easier. The brightness can also be easily adjusted so that music can be played even in darker environments.
The Genos2 features a redesigned control panel with every button, faders and controls perfectly positioned . The faders and buttons are now equipped with practical LED lights that make operation easier. The 76-key keyboard is equipped with a sensitive after-touch effect , which allows for a particularly realistic and pleasant playing experience.
A seemingly endless sound library
The Genos2 offers a selection of sounds that is hard to beat: over 500 Super Articulations Voices , 384 voiced polyphony and 2000 sounds form a huge library in which there is something for every taste. There is also the Genos2 with 141 FM sounds . Frequency modulation sounds are characterized by the fact that they were recorded in real time and therefore sound particularly impressive and realistic.
The innovative Revelation reverb technology allows pianists to edit the sounds in detail and, in particular, to individually adapt the reverb or create their own reverb presets . In this way, real surround sound can be simulated and the sound can be adjusted extremely realistically. Revelation reverb was developed by Steinberg and reflects the wonderful sound quality in every setting.
New, dynamic styles
The new entertainer flagship from Yamaha not only impresses with a large selection, but also with excellent styles. Genos2 proudly presents itself as the first keyboard workstation ever that allows you to adjust the energy and dynamics of the included styles . With the help of the Style Dynamics Control, individual parts can be played louder , quieter , softer or more powerful .
The Genos2 contains a total of 800 styles , 215 of which are completely new . Whether rock, pop, Latin, hits or jazz, there is something for every taste.
Improved tools for a better workflow
In addition to the new controls, sounds and styles , the Genos2 now also offers further developed connections and an even more powerful memory card , which make the workflow much easier. The new memory card makes it possible to save midi settings from external devices and always have them at hand. With the USB audio interface , it's easier than ever to record music with the Rec'n'Share app or other software . An external display can also be connected to enable even more precise work.
With the SMFtoSTY converter it is now possible to convert midi song files into styles . These can then be used and modeled like a predefined style.
