The Thumbport finger rest for the Pinkieport flute was specially developed to ensure a comfortable posture and more stability when playing. Simply clamped to the pipe, the support provides a large, flat finish for the left index finger to better hold the flute. If the left little finger is not being used while playing, it can simply be placed on the Pinkieport. The hard plastic on the outside ensures that the thumb rest does not slip, while the softer plastic on the inside prevents the instrument from being scratched.
