This USB interface is particularly robust and designed for mobile use with its easy connection to laptops and iPads. But the Steinberg UR-RT2 also cuts a fine figure in the studio, because the sound quality is excellent thanks to high-quality D-PRE preamps with switchable transformers on the front inputs. These transformers were developed specifically for the UR-RT series by none other than Rupert Neve Designs. Thanks to their extraordinary musicality, impressive expressiveness and complex overtones, they give music projects a professional sound. The audio interface also offers DSP-supported, latency-free direct monitoring with the REV-X Hall, Channelstrip and Guitar Amp Classics. You can get started straight away with the included DAW software Cubase AI for Mac and PC and Cubase LE for iPad.
