The Marimbula is the original bass of the Caribbean. The eight metal reeds are mounted in a mounting system so that they can be individually tuned in the pitch range of Dg. A pentatonic scale is tuned at the factory (F major). How to play: It can be played with both fingers and mallets. Beaten with mallets, the tongues sound with fresh overtones.
