The Sandberg California TT-4 S RW MCR HCA Masterpiece is another bespoke creation from the Braunschweig fine workshop. This 4-string J-Bass features an alder body and a 6-bolt maple neck whose rosewood fretboard is fitted with beautiful block inlays. Most striking on the Sandberg California TT-4 RW MCR HCA Masterpiece is the Metallic Candy Red finish which, together with the fretboard and the hardware, has undergone the Hardcore Aged Masterpiece treatment, so this instrument not only looks as if it has been played on stages around the world for 30 years, but sounds that way too.
