The Sandberg California TM-5 MN VW HCR is a 5-string bass with a new hardcore reserve-aged finish. The Braunschweig manufacturer's custom shop instruments have been known for years for high-quality wood, top workmanship and extremely good sound properties. The model has an alder body, a maple neck with maple fretboard and white block inlays. The Sandberg bass company was founded in 1987 by Holger Stonjek and a business partner in Braunschweig. The company then quickly made a name for itself in the woofer community, because Sandberg 's appearance, sound, quality and, last but not least, price are right.
