Product information
The Roland TR-8S Rhythm Performer combines Roland's long tradition in building drum machines with the latest sample technology. In addition to the sounds of the classic 808, 909, 707, 727 and 606, the TR-8S also includes a large selection of Mono and stereo samples. Thanks to the high-resolution audio engine, all instruments can also be transferred individually to a DAW via USB audio. The newly developed Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology enables the typical sound and rhythm characteristics of the legendary predecessor models to be replicated. The internal 16-step sequencer is capable of storing up to 128 patterns, including 8 variations and up to 3 fills. In addition, the selected drum kit and the tempo can be set individually for each storage location. Roland TR-8 Rhythm Performer:

About Roland

Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various music materials and studio technology on April 18, 1972 in Osaka, Japan. Among the earliest products to come onto the market were the first rhythm machines from the TR series, whose successors TR-808, TB-303 and TR-909 had a significant influence on both techno and electro music, as well as hip hop scene. The JC-120 Jazz chorus guitar amplifier was also created in the mid-1970s, and both Andy Summers from The Police as well as Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield from Metallica were audibly impressed by its ultra-clear sound in conjunction with the built-in chorus effect . Since then and to this day, Roland has continuously expanded its catalog with high-quality and interesting products in a wide variety of fields such as digital pianos, groove boxes, e-drums and synthesizers.
