The Roland SPD-SX sampling pad leaves nothing to be desired: sample creation, playback, audio capturing and three multi-effects processors are just some of the features. Whether for application at home, in the studio, in clubs or on stage, the Roland SPD-SX does its job brilliantly. Since the sampling pad is full of advanced technology , it's child's play to play one-shot samples, loop phrases or complete audio playback songs - very quickly and with great precision. The user has access to nine velocity-sensitive rubber pads, whose status is shown by indicators, and two external dual trigger inputs . The Roland SPD-SX also has two gigabytes of internal memory, which corresponds to around 360 minutes of Mono samples. If this is still not enough memory for you, you can rest easy because the Roland SPD-SX offers extensive USB functionality: mass storage, USB midi/Audio and USB memory. The Wave Manager software is included for easy importing, assigning and organizing the samples. As a final treat, the Roland SPD-SX has a large backlight LCD. Roland SPD-SX:

About Roland

Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various music materials and studio technology on April 18, 1972 in Osaka, Japan. Among the earliest products to come onto the market were the first rhythm machines from the TR series, whose successors TR-808, TB-303 and TR-909 had a significant influence on both techno and electro music, as well as hip hop scene. The JC-120 Jazz chorus guitar amplifier was also created in the mid-1970s, and both Andy Summers from The Police as well as Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield from Metallica were audibly impressed by its ultra-clear sound in conjunction with the built-in chorus effect .
