NUX Time Core Deluxe MKII
The Nux Time Core Deluxe MKII is a delay pedal with seven different delay sounds and a looper. It offers the delay modes Digital delay, Analog delay, Modulation delay, Tape echo, pan delay, Verb delay, Reverse delay and sound On sound. These can be accessed in no time using the rotary controls .
The ΦPhi Digital delay is a digital delay with a repeat Sequenz that follows the golden cut (ratio 1:1.618). This makes your guitar sound even more musical. Simply set a desired delay time, tap a tempo and you're ready to go. The delay range of this mode is 80 ms - 1000 ms.
The Analog delay is based on the timeless BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) delay. It produces a very warm sound with a natural treble roll-off. This sound is very suitable for ballad-like solos with an emotional atmosphere. Its unique algorithm replicates the physical infinity feedback, while the time control can be quickly adjusted from maximum to minimum. Spacey and interactive effects are also possible. The delay range is 40 ms ~ 403 ms.
The Modulation delay is based on the legendary DML Modulation delay. This delay is popular for its rich, overtone-rich chorus effect. If you hold down the footswitch , the pedal switches to Alt mode (the LED indicator flashes orange). In this mode, the delay's mod parameters can be changed using the repeat controls . Briefly press the footswitch again to exit Alt mode. The modulation delay range is 20 ms ~ 1500 ms.
The pan delay mode shifts an incoming mono signal to different locations in the stereo field. The pan delay algorithm transforms ordinary panning into a "gourmet" variant, as not only the stereo positioning but also other parameters can be fine-tuned. This makes it possible to make panning movements less extreme - for example if you want the placement to feel natural - and of course even unusual settings can be adjusted precisely, which promises high recognition value in the mix and composition. The pan delay range is between 80 ms - 1000 ms.
The Verb delay mode contains a plate reverb algorithm with additional digital delay, which promises a particularly tasteful and subtle delay sound . Hold down the footswitch to enter Alt mode and adjust the Verb parameter using the Repeat control; press the footswitch briefly to exit Alt mode. The Verb delay range is from 80 ms - 1000 ms.
The reverse delay is a classic effect from the early days of pop music: you first record a guitar part on a tape recorder and then play it backwards. Popularized by the Beatles and later guitar legend Jimi Hendrix, reverse delay still inspires people to explore new sonic possibilities.
sound-On- sound Mode (SOS for short) is a 40-second stereo phrase looper for guitarists to practice and develop new ideas. The practical thing: During player , you can exit SOS mode to select a different delay mode and use the effect to play without interrupting player
