NUX NSS-5 Solid Studio IR · Speaker simulation
With the NSS-5 Solid Studio IR, NUX has a sophisticated speaker, microphone and power amp simulator in its range. There are 8 speaker simulations, 8 microphones, 3 microphone positions and 3 power amp tube types. A master, a drive (for power amp saturation) and a presence controls are available for fine-tuning. The highlight of the Solid Studio IR is that you can load your own IRs or IRs from third-party suppliers via the USB port. The NSS-5 also cuts a fine figure as an emergency amp for a pedal board - connect the output of the pedal board to the input of the Solid Studio and connect it directly to the mixer via the symmetrical XLR output - gig saved!
