Founded at the end of the 1970s, Kramer Guitars would provide the "weapons of choice" for the glam metal scene around bands like Mötley Crüe, Ratt and Poison in the following decade. Thanks to their Superstrats , i.e. modified and modified ST guitars, Kramer Guitars were even the best-selling electric guitar brand in the world in 1985!
Their guitars are absolute workhorses with no frills and are characterized by classic Strat ingredients such as alder or ash bodies with a screw-on maple neck . They are refined by humbucker pickup and Floyd Rose tremolos . In keeping with the spirit of the times, special attention is paid to the visual design of the guitars. Pastel and neon colors as well as animal prints dominate here.
In addition to the music of this time, the corresponding instruments have of course also been experiencing a second spring since the early 2000s. So if you're looking for an authentic 80s feeling , you're well advised to go with the instruments from Kramer's Original Collection , which continue this legacy.
Of course, Kramer Guitars don't just live on nostalgia. The Modern Collection combines the technical know-how with the requirements of current metal musicians for their instrument and also offers single cut, V models and basses .
