Der On-Board-Sequencer bietet 16 MIDI- und 16 Audio-Spuren und eignet sich somit auch als praktischer Zuspieler von Click- und Backingtracks auf der BĂĽhne.

Die flexible Effektsektion bietet 16 Effekt-Slots, davon 12 Insert-Effekte, 2 Master- und 2 Total-Effekte. Hier kann aus insgesamt 197 verschiedenen Effekttypen gewählt werden. Zusätzlich gibt es einen 3-Band-EQ, mit dem der Sound ideal an Bühne und Studio angepasst werden kann.

Die KARMA Funktion erzeugt in Echtzeit komplexe musikalische Begleitungen, die sich intuitiv ĂĽber die Fader und Taster der Controller-Sektion steuern und anpassen lassen.

Der KORG KRONOS bietet eine Vielzahl an Spielhilfen, die ein ausdrucksstarkes Spiel ermöglichen. The Korg KRONOS celebrates an impressive comeback in 2025 and once again sets new standards in the world of music workstations. Since its introduction in 2011, the KRONOS has continued to inspire musicians worldwide and has undergone constant further development. The latest generation presents itself with numerous improvements and new functions that impress both on stage and in the studio.

New design and improved hardware

The updated design of the KRONOS impresses with a robust, powder-coated metal housing and elegant black wooden side panels, which not only give the instrument a sophisticated look, but also ensure an excellent feel. The revised system architecture enables a 60% faster start-up compared to previous models, significantly reducing the waiting time when switching on. In combination with the improved TouchView display, the KRONOS offers a modern and intuitive user experience.

Expanded sound library and new sounds

The new KRONOS comes with 256 additional sound programs that have been carefully designed to enhance musical creativity. These include an impressive Italian concert grand piano and the “Tine EP 1 Early”, an iconic electric piano sound that authentically reproduces the classic vintage sound. In addition, 128 programs have been selected from the optional KRONOS Sound Libraries, which were created in collaboration with leading sound designers and offer an inspiring expansion of the sound palette.

Backward compatibility and future updates

KORG attaches great importance to the longevity and backward compatibility of its products. All KRONOS models can utilize the diverse KRONOS Sound Libraries, protecting existing investments and facilitating future hardware upgrades. From the second half of 2025, KORG will offer an optional sound pack for users of the NAUTILUS and older KRONOS generations, which will make the new KRONOS sounds available on these models as well.
