IK Multimedia ARC Studio
ARC Studio is a standalone room correction solution for stereo listening systems, combining a hardware processor, the ARC 4 software and a precise MEMS measurement microphone. The completely new algorithm corrects unfavorable acoustic conditions that could otherwise lead to an incorrect mix. The system enables a natural and transparent sound that guarantees reproducible results.
The quality of the listening path is crucial. ARC Studio offers a dynamic range of 120 dB(A) between analog input and output, a frequency response of 0.5Hz to 40kHz and ultra-stable clocking for vanishingly low jitter. This achieves tonal transparency and a level of accuracy that can only be found in professional audio interfaces and mastering-grade audio converters. The connection to studio monitors is made via balanced XLR connections; to avoid unwanted background noise, these are equipped with relay-based hard bypass .
