The Californian company FENDER is expanding its Artist Collection in 2022 and is giving the living legend Nile Rodgers an Artist model. This fact shouldn't surprise anyone, as every album, every live performance and every hit that Rodgers has produced is based on one essential element: his used 1960 Fender Hardtail Stratocaster in the color / finish Olympic White.
Nile aka "The Hitmaker" Rodgers manifested his excellent reputation as a producer, songwriter and live guitarist with productions for, among others, Chic, Diana Ross, Debbie Harry, Madonna, Duran Duran, INXS, Grace Jones, Laurie Anderson, Mick Jagger and David Bowie. Most recently he was able to demonstrate his skills in the song Get Lucky by Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams and stayed in the charts for several weeks with the number one hit.

If you want to bring a bit of glitter and glory and the playing feeling of Rodgers into your home, you can do so this year with the brand new FENDER Nile Rodgers Hitmaker Stratocaster.
The Hitmaker Strat features a 1959 custom C-profile maple neck and a 1960 alder body. The latter is slightly narrower and more contoured, i.e. more “curved” than that of a typical Vintage Strat.
For its distinctive output , the Artist model is equipped with three Hitmaker Nile Rodgers singles coils, with the middle pickup having reverse polarity (RWRP) and, in conjunction with the other two, providing the typical "QUACK SOUND" and bell-like clarity ensures.
Externally, the Hitmaker Strat is a real eye-catcher with its Olympic White finish and its Nitro paint finish and is very similar to the original with its self-sprayed “Nile finish” during the “chic era”.
Rodger's typical chrome pickguard and hardtail bridge are of course also included.
As the icing on the cake, the headstock has been given two highlights. On the back there is a "Nile Rodgers & Chic logo", while on the front of the headstock the signature of the master himself awaits you.
