The Evans Hybrid Sensory Percussion sound system opens up a whole new universe of sound for drummers using state-of-the-art technology . The interaction of the powerful Sunhouse™ software, the Evans Portal Audio interface and the particularly precise and sensitive sensors transforms any acoustic drum kit into a tool for musical experimentation with almost endless sound possibilities. With up to 10 zones per drum, a constantly growing sound library and the ability to combine digital flexibility with analog expressiveness, there are no limits to your creativity with Sensory Percussion.

The Evans Portal Audio interface offers seven sensor connections for easy “plug & play” connection. There are also 2x XLR Mic/Line combination sockets, 2x 6.3mm Line In, 1x ADAT Out, 6x 6.3mm Line Out (2x Main + 4x Aux) and 2x headphone out (3.5mm / 6.3mm). This means that the portal can be used as a fully-fledged audio interface for recording or live use.
The Sensory Percussion Sensors are designed so that they can be used with almost all common snares, toms and bass drums. They are connected to the portal interface using the 3.5mm jack cables included in the bundle .
The Sunhouse Sensory Percussion software offers a range of flexible inputs and outputs, a variety of effects, a constantly growing sound library and comprehensive options for controlling sequencers, tones, chords, effects and other parameters in real time with your playing.
