The LTD MH series combines design elements from ESP's Horizon models, such as the archtop body, and the Mirage guitars, such as the headstock and extra-thin U-shaped neck. The result is a guitar with which you can do everything right in any style of music. The MH-1000NT features a neck-thru construction / acoustic with a 25.5" scale scale length, allowing easy and quick access to the highest frets. It features a mahogany body with a flamed maple top finished in a translucent Charcoal Burst finish to highlight the grained wood, with white binding on the body, neck and inverted headstock. The MH-1000NT has a sturdy, three-piece maple neck with a Thin U profile and a Macassar ebony fretboard with offset block inlays and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.
The black hardware components of this excellent guitar include a TonePros TOM bridge, LTD locking tuner and a set of active Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker pickup (ceramic in the bridge and Alnico in the neck) with push-pull controls for selecting voicings and black nickel covers that match the excellent aesthetics of this guitar. Each pickup offers two voices. With the ceramic bridge pickup, voice 1 is the ultimate high- output ceramic humbucker tone: crisp, cutting crunch and a tight low end.
Voice 2 delivers a modern passive attack performance that features excellent organic distortion characteristics with exceptional dynamics and response. Voice 1 of the Alnico neck pickup is Fishman's modern active high- output tone, offering the ideal Alnico sound : full, round and powerful, but with unprecedented articulation and dynamics. Voice 2 gives you the fresh, clean and smooth neck humbucker tone you've always wanted.
