This newly redesigned EC-1000 offers a luxurious, sophisticated look with its grained maple top, See Thru Black Cherry finish and special aesthetic details such as the multi-layered body and headstock binding , with the simple black hardware completing the overall design. The EC-1000 Fluence also offers a neck-thru construction / acoustic with a 24.75"scale length and an ergonomically shaped neck-body transition, combined with a mahogany body and a three-piece mahogany neck. The EC-1000 Fluence offers also the modern conveniences for today's music performance styles, including a TonePros Locking TOM bridge, LTD Locking tuner, a Macassar ebony fretboard with ESP flag inlays and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.
Its sound is driven by a set of active Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker pickup (ceramic in the bridge and Alnico in the neck), with push-pull controls for selecting voicings and black nickel covers that match this guitar's excellent aesthetic. Each pickup offers two voices. With the ceramic bridge pickup, voice 1 is the ultimate high- output ceramic humbucker tone: crisp, cutting crunch and a tight low end.
Voice 2 delivers a modern passive attack performance that features excellent organic distortion characteristics with exceptional dynamics and response. Voice 1 of the Alnico neck pickup is Fishman's modern active high- output tone, offering the ideal Alnico sound : full, round and powerful, but with unprecedented articulation and dynamics. Voice 2 gives you the fresh, clean and smooth neck humbucker tone you've always wanted.
