About Catalinbread

The American company Catalinbread was founded in 2003 on the kitchen table of founder Nic Harris and was fully dedicated to producing effects that are now world-famous as boutique pedals. First, production began on the Super Chili Picoso , the first Catalinbread-branded pedal made exclusively for ToneFactor, a Seattle-based guitar shop. Sales of this fur-lined pedal funded further adventurous pedal designs and soon Catalinbread had outgrown both its business model and its modest store space. That's why the company expanded and is now based in Portland, Oregon . Since 2006 , over 30 unique pedals have been designed and manufactured there, each handcrafted one at a time.
