“Romantic Piano Emotions” is intended for young people and adults who enjoy playing emotional and soulful, romantic piano music. The 25 medium-easy to slightly demanding pieces have clear harmonic structures and imaginative, easy-to-remember melodies. Musically, the compositions meet in the middle between “classic” and “modern” and, on the one hand, enrich the classical repertoire with modern sounds and rhythms, and on the other hand, the technical pianistic skills are developed, which find a versatile application when playing more demanding piano music of other styles.
Working on the piano pieces gives the advanced beginner a fundamental understanding of various technical tasks such as playing chords, easy two-part harmony or melody and accompaniment with the right hand at the same time, double third stops, scale and arpeggio passages. Particular attention is paid to the left hand, which is supposed to master different accompaniment patterns or also emerges as the hand that leads the melody. All pieces have detailed fingering, which makes playing easier for beginners and autodidacts. “Romantic Piano Emotions” is ideal for general piano lessons, for self-study and for relaxed music-making at home. The focus is on having fun and having fun playing.
