The album “My Most Beautiful Piano Dreams” consists of 27 easy-to-play pieces that are characterized by different styles and want to take the player on a musical journey through enchanting sound and visual landscapes. It contains classical elements in the style of Mozart and Beethoven, romantic and Celtic music as well as influences from film music, pop and rock. The compositions are suitable for piano lessons from the second year onwards - for children aged 8 and over, teenagers and adults - and are arranged according to the level of difficulty.
The pieces are very easy at the beginning and gradually become more challenging as the book progresses. The keys used are the easier major keys C, G, F and the simple minor keys Am, Em, Dm. The compositions, written in large musical notation, are usually two pages length , contain memorable melodies and are therefore easy to learn. Despite their simplicity, these small works sound extremely beautiful and complete. The classical elements are integrated into the pieces in a modern way and - especially in the accompaniment of the left hand - a very good preparation for the “great”, classical compositions of the “old masters”. They also represent an ideal introduction to the areas of film and pop/rock music and everyone has the opportunity to discover the pieces for themselves and interpret them in a personal way.
With “My Most Beautiful Piano Dreams”, composer Jens Rupp has created another “treasure chest” of beautiful, catchy piano music, which complements the work with a classical school and invites both piano players and listeners alike to dream.
