The way you sit is the way you play. That certainly applies to benches and stools used with keyboard instruments. It�s not enough for the bench simply to be high enough for the player to reach both the keyboard and the pedals. The right piano bench should also be comfortable, so the player has a good seat and can still move around the piece of furniture with virtuosity.
Keyboard bench or piano stool
While the piano is a fixed musical instrument that usually stays in the same place, the keyboard is generally much more mobile. The instrument itself rests on a keyboard stand and is therefore easy to transport. For this reason many keyboard benches, such as the Stand Art Keyboardbank Classic, can be folded in just a few simple steps and are easy to store. A high-quality piano bench, on the other hand, is usually fixed with legs screwed to the seat frame. Even here it is important that the bench is height-adjustable.
