Room acoustic elements – What do absorbers and diffusers do?

Even with studio acoustic elements we repeatedly encounter major misunderstandings. That's why Michael first explains to you the difference between sound absorption and sound insulation. The latter cannot be achieved with absorbers such as pyramid foam. These foam modules are about optimising the recording or monitoring room acoustically and making it as "dry" as possible.
