Digital pianos for beginners
If you only want to play at home with your digital piano and aim for sound and touch as close as possible to an acoustic piano, then so-called home or compact digital pianos are the right choice for you. In the entry-level price range between €500 and €1,200, common manufacturers such as Casio (Privia and Celviano series), Kawai (CL and CN series), Roland (RP and FP series) and Yamaha (Arius series) already offer a wide selection and professional features. 88 weighted keys, including hammer action and foot pedals, as well as a stereo speaker system, are part of the standard equipment. The controls are clearly laid out and easy to use. You can even select additional sounds such as a range of strings, harpsichords and organs. Important for practising: a metronome, auto-accompaniment and a recording function are also included.
