Which Yamaha Montage M suits you best?
The synthesizers of the Yamaha Montage M series were developed specifically for the needs of sound tinkerers, keyboard players and pianists. Therefore, different variations are available for each application. The Montage M is offered in three keyboard configurations. The models Montage M6 and Montage M7 use high‑quality, semi‑weighted FSX keyboards with 61 and 76 keys respectively, including aftertouch, and are primarily aimed at live keyboard players, synthesizer enthusiasts and sound tinkerers.
The Montage M8x is equipped with a newly developed GEX keyboard with 88 keys that supports polyphonic aftertouch. The M8x is aimed first and foremost at piano‑oriented musicians. The new keybed offers an excellent playing feel for performing a wide range of sounds, from acoustic pianos and electric pianos to synth sounds, organs and more! In addition, polyphonic aftertouch provides immense expressive power because you can modulate individual notes separately during polyphonic playing. No matter which model you choose, the Montage M series ushers in a new era of sound, control and workflow in your music production.
