With the new generation of the Vox amPlugs you can really rock out with your guitar or bass, without disturbing your neighbours or housemates. If you plug a headphone into the amPlug of your choice, you can practise worry-free - and that at any time of day or night. The Vox amPlugs are available in numerous variants, each modelled on a particular famous amplifier classic. The amPlug AC30 is, for example, based on the popular Vox AC30, the amPlug Boutique recreates the legendary sound of one of the most famous boutique amplifiers ever built and the amplug UK Drive emulates the UK 100W stack sound. CH1 delivers a full vintage tone, and CH2 produces an edgy distortion sound. That means there's guaranteed to be the right tone for every guitarist.
Even more options for bassists
In the second generation of the amPlugs there was little choice for bassists, with only the amPlug Bass available. This offers a classic bass amp tone with a wide sound on CH1. CH2 produces a fat, punchy overdrive sound, ideal for a variety of genres. In the third generation the amPlug Modern Bass has now been added, offering a more modern bass amp tone. It provides a clear, bright sound on CH1 and an edgy high-gain distortion sound on CH2, delivering a more modern and aggressive bass tone. So the Vox amPlugs also ensure the perfect bass tone for quiet practising.
