In 2020, Sonor once again sat down with Benny Greb, an exceptional drummer and one of the best-known Sonor artists, and developed two new versions of his signature measurements sd (set) .
Benny Greb Signature measurements sd (set) – Beech
The well-known and popular 13 x 5.75 inch beech snare with Scandinavian birch received a visual upgrade in the form of an elegant Bubinga veneer inlay and the classic 1950s “teardrop” lug . The measurements sd (set) also has two new “MonoRail” inner dampers made of felt and sheepskin, which enable numerous tonal variations with a simple movement of the hand.
Benny Greb Signature measurements sd (set) – Vintage Brass
It is particularly worth mentioning that the Benny Greb snare is now also available with a 1.2 mm thick shell made of Vintage brass , which results in a warm and round sound with pleasant overtones.
