Thanks to the classic Roland design and fantastic workmanship, with the powerful new ZEN-CORE sound engine providing a lot of boost, the modern flagship synthesizer does not need to shy away from comparison with the largest planet in our solar system. The Roland Jupiter-X is rightly named. The Roland company speaks of a fully equipped Vintage studio with modern possibilities and an extremely flexible sound engine to explore previously unexplored sound landscapes.
To infinity and beyond...
Since the first Jupiter set a milestone in sound design in 1978, which shaped all future synthesizers, the name still stands for the inimitable Roland sound even 40 years later. If you scroll through the preset menu of the Roland Jupiter-X, you will discover legendary synthesizers from decades of Roland history. The classic analogue sounds of the Jupiter-8, JUNO-106 and SH-101, as well as digital Vintage sounds, of the XV-5080, JX-8P and the popular RD piano series were authentically reproduced using a complex process. Of course, the iconic drum sounds from the TR-808, TR-909 and CR-78 drum machines, with which pioneers laid the foundation for electronic music, are also included. The sound generation of the Jupiter-X is based on 5 layer parts, four of which are reserved for synthesizers and one for drums. With them, complex backing parts, fat layer and split sounds can be created and mixed in no time. The Jupiter-X is endlessly expandable and - similar to the new Roland Fantom workstations - is part of a constantly growing platform that will regularly be expanded to include new, fresh sounds through future updates.

In order to reach new sound spheres even faster in your production, a next-generation arpeggiator supports you. The I-Arpeggio of the Jupiter-X not only accompanies you like a conventional arpeggiator with backing, but also continuously inspires you in your creative process based on artificial intelligence. Through your input of notes, rhythms and phrases, the I-Arpeggio creates matching drum parts, basslines, chords and groovy arpeggiator sequences that take your live performance to the next level and resolve any writer's block in the production process. There has never been anything like this in any other synthesizer before.
