PreSonus Quantum HD 8 and Quantum HD 2

The Quantum HD 8 and Quantum HD 2 models are the flagships in this line and target professional musicians and producers with an audio quality of 32-bit / 192 kHz. The Quantum HD 8 is the flagship model, offering extensive connectivity, including multiple inputs and outputs for complex studio setups. It is ideal for large recording projects where many instruments and vocals need to be recorded simultaneously. The Quantum HD 2, on the other hand, is somewhat more compact but offers the same outstanding audio quality and is perfect for smaller studios or mobile setups that demand professional results.

Re-Amp Outputs

Both the Quantum HD 8 and the HD 2 feature a special function: re-amp outputs.

These re-amp outputs allow users to re-amp audio directly from their DAW and shape their sounds using amplifiers and effects. Users can send audio from their DAW to their guitar or bass amplifier and re-record it to experiment with different amplifiers, pedals and microphone positions. This feature is especially beneficial for guitarists and bassists who want to expand their musical expression.

PreSonus Quantum ES 4 and Quantum ES 2

At the other end of the product line are the Quantum ES 4 and Quantum ES 2 models, which are an excellent choice for semi-professional musicians and ambitious home-recording producers. These desktop interfaces have their controls on the surface and also offer first-rate recording features at a lower price, without compromising on audio quality, which is rated at 24-bit / 192 kHz. The Quantum ES 4 provides more flexibility with additional inputs and outputs compared to the Quantum ES 2, which stands out for its compactness and simplicity — ideal for smaller setups or on the go.

Additional features of the PreSonus Quantum audio interfaces:

Powerful signal flow

Key audio features of the Quantum series include a specially designed, low-latency driver that ensures exceptionally low audio latency during recording, while high-performance converters with a dynamic range of 124 dB (depending on model) guarantee outstanding clarity and fidelity of the recorded sound.

Completely new MAX-HD microphone preamps

The audio interfaces of the Quantum series are equipped with newly developed microphone preamps. The preamps are called MAX-HD and offer up to +75 dB of gain. In use they are transparent, low-noise and feature digitally controlled analogue design, making them ideal for today's most popular microphones.

Developed together with Fender

Guitarists and bassists will be thrilled, as the Quantum series features instrument inputs for guitar and bass developed in close collaboration with Fender.

Auto Gain and Universal Control app

With the extremely handy Auto-Gain feature you can set the gain level perfectly for your microphones and instruments at the push of a button. It's also convenient that the Quantum series works with any mobile or desktop device. That way you're always ready to record, no matter where or when creativity strikes. Settings such as the preamp gain level, phantom power and more can be conveniently controlled via the desktop panels of the Quantum ES models or directly through Studio One and the Universal Control app.

Professional recording software included

The audio interfaces come with a perpetual licence for the Studio One Professional Edition and include time-limited trial subscriptions for Studio One+ add-ons and other exclusive content and tools.
