Whether as a first instrument or as the next step in your development: the Sonaré models are available in various configurations — with C- or B-foot joints and high-quality headjoints that set tonal benchmarks. This lets you match individual tonal preferences and technical requirements perfectly.
A special innovation from Powell is the Aurumite material: 9-carat rose gold is applied to sterling silver and the two metals are permanently fused together — a process patented by Powell in 1987. The result is a soft, dark tone with particular depth. Players of the Sonaré series can also experience this sound: models 501 and 601 are optionally available with a pure sterling silver headjoint or with a headjoint featuring an Aurumite lip plate.
