The Powell Sonaré series offers flutes that optimally accompany the musical path of beginners through to advanced levels. It is aimed at all those who value excellent response, precise workmanship and a warm, characterful sound right from the start - and all at an attractive price-performance ratio.

Whether as a first instrument or as a flute for the next stage of development: the models in the Sonaré series are available in different versions - with a C or B foot and high-quality headjoints that set standards in terms of sound. This means that individual tonal preferences and technical requirements can be covered perfectly.

A special innovation of the Powell brand is the Aurumite material: 9-carat red gold is applied to sterling silver and the two metals are permanently fused together - a process patented by Powell back in 1987. The result is a soft, dark tone with special tonal depth. Players of the Sonaré series can also experience this sound: The 501 and 601 models are available with either a pure sterling silver headjoint or a headjoint with an Aurumite mouthplate.
