This year not only the timpani but also the corks are popping at the percussion manufacturer Pearl! Pearl is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a reissue of its legendary President Series.

With the developed further drum sets and snare drums from the President Series, Pearl looks back to their early days in 1966. The sets and snares not only look nostalgic, their sound also evokes a vintage vibe.
Contributing to this are, among other things, the original-inspired Lauan shells including an integrated head muffler, which deliver a strong, deep tone. Fans of early Pearl models will surely also be pleased by the reissue of the Battleship lugs, the Classic Script badge and the old logo on the bass drum's front head.
The cymbal mount fitted to the bass drum also evokes a retro feel. The Pearl President drum sets are finished with Delmar USA wrap and are available in Ocean Ripple and Desert Ripple. The set consists of a 22-inch bass drum, 13-inch tom and 16-inch floor tom. Also included is the Pearl bass drum damping pad.
Matching the President Deluxe drum sets, separately available colour-matched snare drums are also made from cross-laminated Lauan wood and feature Pearl's SST snare throw-off, delivering an explosive, penetrating sound.
