Ortega Bamboo

Each instrument in the Ortega Bamboo series is made from natural, solid bamboo . This makes the Bamboo Series the only series from Ortega that does not use any wood at all.

Depending on your personal taste, you can choose between soprano, concert and tenor ukuleles or ukulele bass . The Bamboo Series ukuleles have a solid body made of bamboo, and the neck, fretboard and headstock are also made of bamboo. The ukulele bass comes with an F-hole as an elegant design feature. All of these instruments are available in either a Satin Natural finish or a blue "Satin Stonewashed" type and feature black Graph Tech Ratio tuning machines . The satin finish is significantly thinner than a high-gloss finish and allows the wood to vibrate more freely, creating a more open sound with more sustain .
