What's under the hood?
Inside the bass-reflex enclosure not only sits the 8" Subwoofer, it also houses the system's Class-D amplifier unit with protection circuits against overcurrent, overheating and short circuit, LD Systems' digital LECC signal processing as well as a highly practical 4-channel mixer. Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth© technology for wireless streaming and simultaneously usable microphone, line and high-impedance inputs, a wide variety of sound sources can be connected to the MAUI 5, e.g. playback devices and instruments such as keyboards or guitars. Separate level controls, volume controls for subwoofer and system as well as a high-shelf filter to adapt the treble reproduction to the room acoustics enable a perfectly tuned performance.
