Ibanez Advanced Acoustic Series

New ways to the perfect sound!

The new Ibanez Advanced Acoustic Series promises a completely new acoustic guitar experience. The body in Grand Dreadnought shape is made from Okoume with a solid Sitka spruce top. The top also features X-M bracing, which provides clear bass and treble as well as warm midrange.

The neck, made of Nyatoh, is "thermo-aged" — it has undergone a heat treatment that gives tonal characteristics similar to those of an old, well-played-in and settled instrument. The fretboard is made of Macassar ebony.

The guitars with a cutaway feature the Advanced Access Cutaway, where the neck heel is slightly angled, allowing easy access to the higher frets. These models are also fitted with an Ibanez Custom pickup system with an AP11 pickup.
