Vintage Tone
Once the cable is plugged in, the guitars and basses from the American Professional II Series produce a warm, balanced vintage tone. This is due not only to the fine body woods of alder and Roasted Pine, but also to the perfectly matched V-Mod II pickups. In combination with the special electronics, you can create great, warm tonal nuances with a balanced resonance behaviour.
Modern Feeling
In terms of playability the guitars and basses also impress with bolt-on maple necks and fretboards in rosewood and maple. Over 60 years of innovation have given us the popular Deep C neck profile on the new Fender American Professional II Series, which is now complemented by softly rounded fretboard edges, a silky "Super-Natural" finish and a newly designed, ergonomically contoured heel. This enables relaxed, natural fretting of chords and makes playing single notes especially easy in the upper registers.
The guitars and basses of the American Professional II Series are available in many special colours such as Dark Night, Sienna Sunburst and Miami Blue. And to protect the high-gloss urethane finish on the road, all American Pro II models are supplied in a Deluxe Molded Case.
