Which body shapes are available in the AC series?
Almost all instruments in the AC series are Grand Auditorium models with cutaway, only the ACTG-1 and ACTG2E-DLX are Auditorium models in a smaller format, which are perfect for travelling or for smaller guitarists and young people. The Grand Auditorium is one of the most popular body shapes of recent years and is appreciated for its pleasant size and generally balanced sound, which makes it brilliant in a variety of genres and playing styles.
The AC series has an instrument to suit almost every budget. Each model has an all-solid construction, the tops of the affordable 100 and 200 models are made of Sitka spruce or cedar and the body of Sapele or Ovangkol. The AC guitars in the mid-price range are made from mahogany and rosewood.
All guitars in the AC series are lacquered with Eastman's Truetone finishes, a proprietary satin or high-gloss lacquer that is significantly thinner than comparable lacquers and allows the wood to vibrate much more freely. As a result, the AC guitars sound significantly more open and lighter than the Grand Auditorium guitars of other manufacturers. Each model and each wood combination has its own unique sound character, which becomes more and more refined over time. For the perfect stage sound, all AC models are equipped with high-quality pickups.

The top models from the AC series
Eastman has recently completely revised the AC series and added new premium models: The AC522CE, AC622CE and AC722CE models have rounded edges and an ergonomic armrest, which takes the fun of making music to a new level. A sound port has also been integrated into the upper bout. This allows you to hear yourself playing just as the audience hears your guitar playing. These guitars also use higher quality woods such as Engelmann spruce, maple and koa. Special finishes such as Dakota Fade and Goldburst in combination with unique rosettes, bindings and decorative inlays create a particularly elegant look.
