Duesenberg Guitars

Duesenberg Guitars was founded in 1995 by Dieter Gölsdorf in Hanover. The manufacturer's beautiful guitars refer to the 40s and 50s and the Art Deco era. It all started with the Starplayer electric guitar model , which is still one of the company's bestsellers today. But the instruments are not just based on nostalgia: innovative parts such as the comfortable Z- tuner, the third pickup screw in the frame so that the pickup can be adjusted precisely to the strings or the Duesenberg Deluxe tremola. We have put together a selection of guitars from the Duesenberg forge for you on this page.

The beginnings of Duesenberg

Dieter Gölsdorf, designer and founder of Duesenberg Guitars, opened a small guitar forge in 1978 that also manufactured guitar parts and accessories. His love for sophisticated technical constructions and bold designs as well as his very personal vision of the perfect electric guitar ultimately led to the founding of the electric guitar brand Duesenberg in 1986.

The birth of the star players

Nine years later, in 1995, the Starplayer TV was born and found its way into the hearts of both professional and amateur guitarists. This model has a very unique sound due to its semi-hollow construction / acoustic and also impresses with its extraordinary look, which combines modern design features with tried-and-tested guitar construction. While its design has been refined over the years, today more than ever it is driven by these same core values. Today it is the sister of over 10 different guitar series that have been created over the years and are known all over the world.
In the video on the left our Olli shows you the Starplayer TV.
