The Privia PX-S family from Casio has been one of the most compact digital pianos in the world since its market launch. The new edition of the elegant and space-saving digital pianos is also aimed at all of you who have little space in your home and still don't want to miss out on the sound and feeling of a full-sized digital piano.
Thanks to the flat front with LED touch ring, touch-sensitive keys and backlit LCD screen, a completely newly developed keyboard and a special 360° speaker system that delivers an excellent sound experience even with limited space in the enclosure , the digital pianos can be easily integrated into the smallest living area without sacrificing modern features and ultra-futuristic design.

At first glance, the clear lines and slim design immediately catch the eye. In particular, the integrated stand with wood grain and pedal unit ( including with the 7000 models) appears downright light and delicate compared to the classic console optics . In addition to the classic black and white colors, the PX-S7000 models are also available in the deep yellow “ Harmonious Mustard ”. The yellow version is the only one with a polished finish and therefore sets a new, sophisticated color accent. The Casio PX-S7000 in the Harmonious Mustard type , with its highly polished finish , is reminiscent of the feel of current smart devices and, in conjunction with the transparent acrylic music stand and, last but not least, its overall material mix , underlines the modern lightness of the series.

In addition to its visual appeal, the PX-S7000 is particularly impressive with its modern features under the hood. The Multi-Dimensional Morphing AiR sound Source produces a wide range of exceptionally detailed and playable sounds. There are over 400 high-quality sounds / tones on board the Casio PX-S series . As befits a real digital piano, the player of course has a large selection of realistic electric piano, upright and grand piano sounds at his disposal. These also include high-quality grand piano sounds that contain the rich resonances of the acoustic instrument. To create an authentic piano tone, the overtones produced by the piano strings for each of the 88 keys and the resulting complex body resonances were faithfully recreated. The sound of the piano reacts to every nuance of the playing style and takes into account gentle touches through to powerful playing. For an even fuller sound , Open-String Resonance and Aliquot Resonance modeling ensures that the strings resonate in the upper octaves, even when not struck directly by a hammer. As a special features , so-called “best hit” pianos can be selected in a separate catagory . These are unmistakably reminiscent of the piano sounds of famous pop and rock hits. The selection is rounded off with countless authentic organ, string and synthesizer sounds as well as other sounds / tones.
keyboard
The newly developed "Smart Hybrid Hammer Action" keyboard made of wood and resin is responsible for a very authentic keystroke thanks to a combination of advanced physical keyboard mechanism and digital control technology. Due to the compact dimensions , completely new hammers were developed for the Casio PX-S family, the weighting of which allows for a moderate and controlled counterforce and also ensures a realistic moment of inertia when the key is pressed harder. But that's not all. The digital scaling technology ensures that the volume is controlled individually for each key when you press a key. It depends on how hard the key is struck, with the striking weight varying over the length of the keyboard , like a grand piano. The keyboard features are rounded off by the ten-stage hammer response , the three-stage key off response and the key off simulator . This means that the player can hear the finest nuances even when releasing a key, which makes his piano playing with a PX-S7000 even more authentic.

sound system
In addition to the sound generation and keyboard, there is of course also a powerful sound system. The new Spatial sound system technology from Casio is used. With four independently amplified broadband loudspeaker with oval 8 x 16 cm speakers, side diffusers and surround function , it ensures a room-filling 360° sound design . This means that the pianos can be perfectly integrated into modern living spaces and can even be positioned free-standing in the room.
The piano position function allows the sound elements of each speaker to be adjusted to the location of the digital piano. Choices include: on the stand, near a wall, in the middle of the room and on a table. If your own four walls are no longer sufficient, you can use the Hall Simulator/ reverb function to recreate the acoustic properties of concert halls and other performance spaces. As a special treat, a microphone can be connected directly to the instrument and played back with various effects via the integrated loudspeaker system .
Operating and control elements
You can use practical touch sensors on the LED panel to make all the important settings, keyboard layouts (duet, layer and split functions) and navigate intuitively through the sounds / tones and categories. Alternatively, all sound and effect settings can be controlled and saved not only on the instrument, but also intuitively using the free Casio Music Space app . Of course, wirelessly via bluetooth® , with the Wireless midi and Audio adapter , which, in addition to app and MIDI connectivity, also enables audio streaming from smartphones or tablets via the PXS7000's integrated loudspeaker .
