At the beginning of the new year , Casio has good news for all keyboard enthusiasts! The extremely popular Compact series has been given new models.

What is behind the new digital pianos from the CASIO Compact series?

As the name of the series suggests, the successors also find a free space in even the smallest rooms due to their very compact dimensions .

Like the previous models, the new cars from the CDP-S series also impress with their excellent sound and keyboard properties . Particularly noteworthy would be the weighted Scaled Hammer Action keyboard II , an excellent selection of tones and the highly sought-after ability to operate the new digital pianos with the free CASIO Music Space app (formerly the Chordana Play For Piano app).

In addition, the polyphony of the top model in the series has been doubled from 64 to 128 voices . This means that the 700 high-quality sounds / tones such as grand piano, organ and harpsichord of the CDP-S360 now sound even more authentic. Depending on your taste, the CDP-S360 can be operated with the CS-470P stand with integrated 3-way pedal or the 3-way pedal SP-34 (both available separately). With the WU-BT10 Wireless midi& Audio adapter , which is also not including , the digital piano can even be connected wirelessly to a smartphone or tablet.

The CDP-S160 is designed as a set and consists of the digital piano and the stylish black stand CS-470P. Thanks to the included stand, the piano can be immediately integrated into the living space and, in addition to the authentic keyboard and the realistic sounds / tones, scores with its additional functions such as Duet Mode , midi recorder and scale length function . In summary, the features make the CDP-S160 SET the perfect companion - even in class.

An equally loyal companion from Casio is the entry-level model CDP-S110 . Compared to the previous model, the decay phase has been extended , which, in conjunction with the speaker system, helps the piano to sound even more authentic. In order not to distract keyboard beginners too much, there are ten sounds / tones available, including grand pianos and electric pianos, waiting to be discovered and played.
