Baton Rouge 20's Reloaded
Modern playability with the spirit of yesteryear
The 20's Reloaded series from Baton Rouge combines traditional body shapes and the aesthetic of the 1920s with modern standards of instrument making. And who better to turn to than Baton Rouge, who from the very beginning have made it their mission to offer the best possible instruments at the best possible price.
For even more insight we had product specialist David Jendro as a guest, who gave us an in-depth on-camera report about the series.

Tone, comfort and body shapes:
A look behind the scenes of the 20s Reloaded series
In the video, experts David and Oliver talk about the special features of the 20s Reloaded series – starting with the successful fusion of traditional construction methods and modern playability standards. Thus, classic body shapes and carefully selected tonewoods meet a comfortable 630mm scale length and a 46mm wide fretboard, which allows a pleasant playing feel without overextension.
They also address the different model variants aimed at various playing styles. Exemplary in the video are three body shapes in the spotlight: Jumbo, Orchestra and Parlour. Larger models like the Jumbo deliver the full, carrying sound that strummers appreciate, while more compact variants like the Parlour—with clear response and direct tone—are particularly suitable for fingerstyle players. The Orchestra shape offers a balanced middle ground and is ideal for versatile playing techniques. This way the series allows both beginners and advanced players to find the right instrument for their individual style.
The right model for every style
The Reloaded 20s series includes instruments across different price ranges, so there's the right model for everyone.
The X11LS with a mahogany body and neck and a spruce top is a well-crafted entry-level instrument at an unbeatable price.
Thanks to the different body shapes and the appealing vintage-look finish, the appearance isn't neglected either. The slightly higher-priced X11S impresses with a solid spruce top, an Okoume neck and the BR-1 pickup system.
The X85S is an all-solid guitar with an OM body and an elegant-looking Coffee Burst high-gloss finish – all at a fair price.
