TA2: Completely acoustic sound for all occasions
The Yamaha U1 TA2 PWH White High Gloss is also equipped with the TransAcoustic™ TA2 system , in which the digital audio signals are transmitted directly to the soundboard of the grand piano, meaning the entire instrument functions as a loudspeaker . By activating the TransAcoustic™ mode, the hammers no longer touch the strings but their movements are recorded via sensors, making it easy to adjust the piano to a desired volume so that headphones are not required. This technology also enables the fusion of acoustic and digital sounds, such as a string orchestra paired with the sound of an acoustic grand piano.
Before delivery, each instrument is fully checked in our master workshop and tuned completely by ear using traditional piano building techniques
