About Vandoren

Since 1905, the Vandoren company from Paris has been selling high-quality reeds for clarinet and saxophone, as well as mouthpieces and accessories. Eugène van Doren, the founder, was a clarinetist himself and knew exactly what was important when making reeds. Soon he was not only making for himself and his colleagues, but for clarinet and saxophone players all over the world, so he was producing the reeds on an industrial production using machines he had developed. His son and grandson continued the business and turned it into the tried and tested brand that, to this day, provides excellent support to wind instrumentalists in their search for the perfect sound with their products.
