Mike Soldano is one of the pioneers of the boutique amp scene. His legendary SLO-100 amp shaped the sound of many well-known guitarists of the ’80s and ’90s. The characteristic, singing high-gain lead sound with its typical midrange is highly recognisable and can be heard on countless recordings. The SLO module is no second-rate emulation of a Soldano amp – Synergy brought Mike Soldano on board and entrusted him with the design of the preamp module: where it says Soldano, Soldano is really inside! The result speaks for itself: the legendary tone is convincingly reproduced. The current SLO II version features separate 3-band EQs per channel. The crunch/overdrive and the tight/normal switch of the legendary head are also on board.
