The UF1 is the ultimate single- faders controllers that optimizes your in-the-box productions with the legendary SSL workflow and high-quality controls - a motorized 100mm faders, two high-resolution color displays, durable RGB soft-touch rubber buttons and a weighted jogwheel, all in a robust metal housing with a premium optics. With the UF1 you have complete control over pans, sends, plug-in control, can customize 46 softkeys to suit your workflow and control up to three DAWs at the same time. The clear and insightful visual feedback, the intuitive control and the deep integration are achieved not least through the including SSL Meter PlugIn and the SSL 360° software . All of this raises the UF1 and the SSL Eco- system to a level that has never been seen before in this size .
The UF1 has DAW profiles for Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, Ableton Live, LUNA and Pyramix. High-quality transport buttons and a weighted jog/scrub wheel make working pleasant, quick and efficient. Secondary transport keys can be customized to key workflow key combinations, such as: B. Loop On/Off and Click on Track On/Off. Or you can press Shift to quickly access DAW automation modes. The premium 100mm SSL motorized faders provides precise control when writing automation and of course fine-tuning track volume in recording and mixing sessions. The UF1's two high-resolution displays provide detailed visual feedback on DAW track names, parameters, time display, the SSL meter plug-in and 360°-capable channel strips in the SSL plug-in mixer. Control SSL channel strip plugins directly from UF1. The plug-in's EQ curve is shown on the large display and gate/compression activity on the small display . The large, gridded encoder enables channel banking, mouse wheel emulation (focus mode) and volume control .
In addition to comprehensive DAW control , every UF1 purchase includes a perpetual license for the SSL Meter plugin (worth €99.99). The meter plug-in is visualized on the large 4.3-inch display and controlled directly from the UF1 finish or the SSL 360° plug-in mixer. Key measurement tools are included in the meter plug-in, including peak and RMS levels, K- system, stereo balancing, phase correlation bars, Lissajous phase scopes, 31-band RTA, VU and PPM metering.
The UF1 can be used alone or in combination with UF8 to provide even deeper SSL DAW control . UF1 is also the perfect hardware extension for the UC1 SSL plug-in controllers, giving you faders control and easy access to SSL 360°-ready channel strip parameters as well as visual feedback of the EQ curves. For the ultimate SSL controllers setup that provides a complete SSL virtual console workflow, combine the UF1 with up to four UF8s and the UC1.
