With the pianos in the F and RP series, Roland is aimed at new and returnees who are looking for an extremely compact instrument that can be integrated into small living spaces to save space. However, the powerful Roland SuperNATURAL sound generation works within the minimalist housing, which in combination with the PHA-4 standard keyboard ensures a first-class gaming experience.
Either the powerful stereo speaker system or the Headphones 3D Ambience effect ensures impressive sound reproduction, which offers a realistic feeling of space even when using headphones. Audio can also be played wirelessly via the bluetooth interfaces . Using the Roland Piano app for Android and iOS, the device can also be easily controlled and adjusted via cell phone or tablet.
Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various music materials and studio technology on April 18, 1972 in Osaka, Japan. Among the earliest products to come onto the market were the first rhythm machines from the TR series, whose successors TR-808, TB-303 and TR-909 had a significant influence on both techno and electro music, as well as hip hop scene. The JC-120 Jazz chorus guitar amplifier was also created in the mid-1970s, and both Andy Summers from The Police as well as Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield from Metallica were audibly impressed by its ultra-clear sound in conjunction with the built-in chorus effect . Since then and to this day, Roland has continuously expanded its catalog with high-quality and interesting products in a wide variety of fields such as digital pianos, groove boxes, e-drums and synthesizers.
