Rode Microphones was founded in Sydney, Australia in 1967 and is a renowned manufacturer of microphones and accessories. Since the beginning of the 1990s, Rode have established themselves in the home recording and audio sectors with inexpensive microphones. The initial focus was on large diaphragm condenser microphones such as the Rode NT1-A , which has been on the market since 1995.
