Body and construction / acoustic
The Lowden S-23 impresses with its solid construction / acoustic. It comes in the distinctive Lowden S body shape without a cutaway. The top is made of high-quality red cedar, while the bottom and sides are made of walnut, giving the guitar a unique timbre and warm tone.
The 5-piece mahogany/rosewood neck is robust and comfortable to hold. The ebony fretboard offers excellent playability and a responsive, crisp sound. The headstock is also made of 5 pieces from mahogany and rosewood and proudly features the Lowden logo.

The guitar is equipped with Gotoh 381 Gold tuning machines with Ebony buttons, which ensure tuning stability and precision. The rosewood bridge combined with the bone saddle/cross piece inlay contributes to excellent resonance and sound transmission. The figured wood rosette and the binding made of maple/Rocklite/mahogany purfling with maple binding set visual accents and round off the elegant appearance.
