With its solid spruce top, this guitar sounds powerful and balanced as you would expect from a good western guitar. Whether powerful strumming or delicate fingerpicking, the open-pored finish allows the top to vibrate optimally and ensures good projection with an even frequency response.
This guitar impresses with its harmonious overall appearance with open-pored finish and a high-quality and beautiful, subtle soundhole rosette made of mother-of-pearl. Encapsulated and chrome-plated tuning machines ensure excellent tuning stability. Fingerboard markings make orientation easier and the attractive pickguard optimally protects the top from scratches when playing the plectrum.
A good string position and the nut width of 43 mm guarantee optimal playability.

For anyone who wants to take their guitar on stage, the DWG-5000 CTW-EQ contains an active pickup system from the renowned manufacturer Fishman (Presys 101) with an integrated tuner. With controls for volume, bass, mids, treble, brilliance, notch and Phase , the guitar can be adapted to difficult environments and the built-in tuner can be used to tune quickly and easily on stage.
All Lakota guitars come factory-strung with coated D'Addario XSAPB Light, which retain their sonority and brilliance for months. This is unusual in this price range and a clear plus point.
