The hammer heads are pressed from 100% "premium" sheep's wool. Kawai is pioneering. In order to better protect the vulnerable mechanics against climatic influences, the mechanical beams and the hammer return bar are made of aluminum. Many other precision mechanics parts are cast from extremely durable ABS Styran, which has very low frictional resistance. On the Kawai K-15 E WH/P White High Gloss, the notches are made of a strong glued wood construction, which ensures optimal strength and excellent stability of the entire construction / acoustic .
Before delivery, each instrument is fully checked in our master workshop and tuned completely by ear using traditional piano building techniques
